My 4 sophomore year which was more like a family. The 4 sprinting at the 750 meter mark because of bad information while my knee was bleeding all down my leg then VA catching a crab sending us across to the other side of the river and still somehow beating every other boat by 1:45. So many friends and good times that I just can’t go away so I’m coming back but this time on the other side of things as a coach! |

2002-2003: 2 Gold Medals at NCASRAs and States for V-LW4, 3rd in Stotesbury semifinals, and 4th in Canada.
2003-2004 WV4 Bronze medal at States; 9th in the time trials at Stotesbury; 4th in semifinals at Nationals.
CURRENTLY- named to the 2005 NEWMAC (New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference) All Conference Rowing Team. Rowing for Mount Holyoke College and is stroke of Novice Eight Boat which took first place at the NEWMAC Championship Race held on April 16, 2005, in Worcester, MA, Placed 18th (Collegiate Women Eights)in Head of the Charles 2005, and Currently one of three Captains for the MHC Crew Team.

Our 4 sophomore year that turned into a family (States, Stotes, Rule #1, good ole Hal Johnson, capitalism, chubby bunny, the tent, our awesome buddy bags, Anacostia, "NO! You can't eat that!", invisible boats, wake up!, Sonja's back support with my sweatshirt), the crew bus, hanging out at Amy's house every Friday afternoon, the erg room at every regatta (until they moved us to the boathouse...), Claire's pep talks, how beautiful the Occoquan looks at 6:30 in the morning for coxswain meetings (heh...), winter training, Claire's initiation of the girls that involved lots of ice cream...and shaving cream...all of the amazing friends that I've made :-) I love y'all!!!!!!! |

"Occoquan Track: We're too good to row"...Eating cheesecake in the car before practice...ROB...Wearing all spandex to school so people knew the crew team existed (I think it worked, we were hard to miss)...raise the roof pushups...BABE...Rufio!...sitting in traffic...almost getting shut down by the CDC for the guys team's staph infections...10 minute pieces...the loooooong spring break row...running...loading the trailer, then unloading it, then loading it again...free scoop day...team dinners...carpools...the lovely erg room...slow squats x 200..."Way enough!!! Oh wait, we haven't crossed the finish line yet..."...1500 meters at 38 SPM...the girls...the races...the team...the good times, the not so good times. |
