The activities bus departs at 3:30 and returns at approximately 7:45 p.m.  Click here to go right to the volunteer sign-up table.

Bus Chaperone Instructions:
The bus leaves from the gym entrance (the right side of the school as you look at if from the front).  Please be there 5 minutes early.  The bus will arrive back at school at approximately 7:45.  (Please plan to stay until all the kids are picked up as there is no adult supervision at the school at this hour).  Lynn Buck, the bus driver, will let the kids know when they are about 20 minutes from school so they can call and let parents know of the estimate arrival time.  If they don't have a cell phone, Lynn Buck will let them use hers. 

The chaperones can bring a snack for the trip home from the Occoquan for the kids... though kids should bring their own food and water bottle... but is is a long day and they appreciate any extra food, especially after a good workout they are famished!).  A snack of nutritious items are suggested ... apples and oranges, bananas, carrot sticks, granola bars, fruit bars, muffins, cheese and crackers, cheese sandwiches, etc....  Currently there are 46 kids signed up for the bus.
