Well its been a long haul to get to our first competition.  And if it wasn't for the brisk winds and the cancellation of the novice events, I would say that  yesterday's Darrell Winslow Regatta should be categorized as a banner day.  All of our Langley boats made it to the finals and our Women's JV 8 took home a silver and our Men's Varsity 8 took home the bronze.  Given that we are still making the transition to a more 8-centric program we have to be heartened by yesterday's results.
